BLITZ ACADEMY LEAGUE

CONDUCT & REPORTING

Respect the game and its people

Players, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators must treat one another with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, abuse, retaliation, and deliberate dangerous play are not accepted. Coaches are responsible for team conduct and for helping families understand event instructions.

Raise a concern

For a general conduct concern, use Contact BAL and choose Conduct concern. Give a brief description and an adult contact address; do not upload athlete data, medical details, or sensitive evidence. League leadership will arrange an appropriate follow-up route. Do not confront someone or investigate on BAL’s behalf.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The website contact form is not a substitute for emergency help or reporting to the appropriate authorities.

Game-day decisions

Follow the onsite officials and designated event lead on weather, field conditions, equipment checks, and whether play can continue. Stop participation if equipment is damaged or does not fit. Headgear does not eliminate the risk of injury. Event-specific emergency arrangements and medical procedures are issued with confirmed event instructions.

Staff and athlete protection

Staff must complete the screening and credentials required by the participation agreement before working with athletes. Parent or guardian permissions, media permissions, and controlled athlete-data access must be established before film capture or player registration. The public website does not collect those records.

Review and accountability

BAL may restrict participation while a conduct matter is reviewed under the applicable agreement. Dedicated safeguarding contacts and the independent competition-appeal route must be published before play begins. Score or placement disputes follow competition procedures and should be kept separate from welfare concerns.
